Vocal Yoga is a great introduction to some of Katarzyna’s teaching in a relaxed group setting. The class touches on the fundamentals of good vocal projection, but in a meditative, sound-healing environment. Similar to a yoga class, and utilizing yoga mats, Katarzyna takes participants through a series of breathing, posture and vocalizing exercises (easy level vocalizing), which is meditative in itself, but enhances vocal projection and knowledge of how the external posture and breath technique affects the internal ability to project the voice. Get ready for some meditative vocalization, emphasis on bodily awareness and relaxation. This stress-reducing class is an excellent activity after long work days.
